Process Engineer

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented and creative engineer to join our motivated team.

The role involves working in our technical and production departments to optimize and improve the manufacturing processes from cast material to finish strip.

The role offers great potential to launch a career in the metal industry and to make an immediate impact on materials technology with a global leader in this industry.

Responsibilities include..
  • Conducting plant and laboratory investigations aimed at improving process performance and products properties.
  • Provide technical support to the production by investigating and improving production processes.
  • Assist in establishing and updating quality control practices.
  • Preparation of detailed technical reports.
Requirements..
  • Degree in Metallurgy/Materials Science/Manufacturing/Mechanical or Engineering required. A minimum of 3 years experience preferred.
  • Should have a broad background in material science, metallography, materials testing, equipment inspection and failure analysis.
  • Knowledge of copper alloys and manufacturing processes such as casting, rolling and annealing are preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently on multiple complex projects are desirable.
  • Computer skills are required. Current software programs will be used on a daily basis.
  • Ability to organize and schedule work based upon priorities.

Electrical Engineer

We are seeking to appoint electrical engineers to maintain equipment and systems relative to metal processing plant.

The position may require the successful candidates to work an 8-hour continental shift pattern covering 7 days.

Attractive remuneration, includes basic rate, shift allowance/productivity bonus.
